| | SKY Urban Scheme In December 2005, SKY launches its urban scheme in Phnom Penh, in partnership with Phnom Penh Municipal Hospital and GTZ. This program is family based but aims at covering specifically identified population rather than individuals. The first target groups for the scheme are:
- Garment
factory workers, beer promotion women, expatriates staffs and
employees;
- Market
Vendors;
- Moto-doup
drivers and other highly vulnerable informal workers.
For the employed workers (garment, beer promotion women, expats staff), a contribution of at least 50% of the premium has to be paid by the employer. Sky offers a comprehensive benefit packages to its insured members: - Totally free and unlimited access to SKY Health Center within the compound of Phnom Penh Municipal Hospital, for primary health care;
- Totally free and unlimited access to Phnom Penh Municipal Hospital, for both in patient and out patient cares, when referred by health center;
- Free transportation to hospital in case of emergency;
- Funeral grant;
Different
prices are proposed for each target groups as their financial revenues
vary from one another. A higher price is asked for employed groups.
